Flexible working is here to stay and the future of the workplace will see us work from an ecosystem of spaces, in which the home will play a major part. One of the challenges facing business leaders is how to ensure the health and wellbeing of their employees when working remotely - whilst still keeping them engaged, productive, motivated and connected. A new category of furniture is therefore needed to address this which has been Designed for the Home and yet Built for Work.
During the pandemic, many have struggled to cope with the blurred boundaries of ‘living in an office’ or ‘working from a home' with makeshift desks in personal & communal areas - which has been challenging for both staff and employers alike.
The work-in-wardrobe provides a professional space which promotes a healthy work-life balance. By day it is an extension of the office environment; ergonomic, secure and a much-needed professional backdrop for VC calls. By evening - work/life boundaries are redefined, the brain is nudged out of work-mode and the closed wardrobe is a beautiful piece of furniture that compliments the surrounding home environment.
