By repurposing items destined for the dustbin, Manchester Fashion Institute Saturday Club have radically reconsidered the role of clothing. They have produced garments that communicate their identities, and champion environmental action through sustainable fashion. To paraphrase one Club member, the young people have dressed themselves backwards.
