London Design Biennale awards four medals to the best contributions from the participating countries, cities and territories. The medal categories include:
Aric Chen is Professor of Practice and Director of the Curatorial Lab at the College of Design & Innovation at Tongji University and Curatorial Director for the Design Miami/ and Design Miami/Basel Fairs.
Ben Evans CBE is the Director of London Design Festival and Executive Director of London Design Biennale.
Dr. Christopher Turner, is Keeper of Design, Architecture and Digital at the V&A and the former Artistic Director of London Design Biennale.
Es Devlin OBE is an artist and designer, practising across the worlds of art, opera, music and technology.
James Lingwood has been co-Director of Artangel with Michael Morris since 1991 and Trustee of The Art Fund.
Jonathan Reekie is Director of Somerset House Trust.
Marva Griffin Wilshire is Founder and Curator of SaloneSatellite.
Nipa Doshi is a designer and co-founder of Doshi Levien.
Paola Antonelli joined New York’s MoMA in 1994 and is a Senior Curator in the Department of Architecture and Design, as well as MoMA’s founding Director of Research and Development.
Professor Jeremy Myerson is the Helen Hamlyn Chair of Design at the Royal College of Art, London, and Director of the global WORKTECH Academy.
Sir John Sorrell is Co-Founder and President of London Design Biennale, which launched in 2016; and Co-Founder and Chairman of London Design Festival, now in its 18th year.
Suhair Khan is Lead of Strategic Projects at Google, prior to heading UK Partnerships and Global Projects for Google Arts & Culture.
