A bio-inspired design method that promotes global fairness and democracy instead of militaristic mega-tech and corporate profit (as is the case with bionics/biomimetics). This is 'ecomimicry' which involves local community artists mimicking local animals and plants (or their ecological settings) to produce local sustainable solutions to local problems in a fair, inclusive, fun, and socially-responsive way. From this project, we get the anti-dictator furry roofs of Minsk (Belarus), recycled eco-warrior submarines (Australia), and the sunflower homes of Greenville (USA).
